Elbows

• Rub elbows with warm olive oil to smoothen them.

• To bleach the elbows, cut a lemon in half and place your elbows into each half for 15 min.

• To clean your elbows and soften the skin, rub them regularly with a mixture of broken wheat, milk cream and lime juice.

• Put a drop of oil on a lemon rind, and rub it on the dark elbows.

• Combine lemon juice with tomato pulp and a few drops of glycerin. Use it to soften hands.

• Make a paste of oatmeal with lemon juice. Apply on hands, and rinse after it dries.

• To lighten the color of elbows, apply a mixture of milk cream, turmeric powder and basil leaves paste and leave for 1 hour and washing off.

• To remove pale and mehendi marks from your hands, rub a raw bottle gourd on your hands.

• Make a paste of curry leaves and turmeric powder. Apply on the heel and leave it for 30 minutes. Gently rub with lemon halves and wash off with warm water.

• Apply a thick paste of turmeric powder and castor oil on cracked heels daily before bath for a quickly cure.

• To treat cracked heels, mix coconut oil and turmeric powder and apply on your heel. Leave it for overnight.

• Rub feet with a mixture of a tsp of wheat flour, a pinch of turmeric powder and few drops of lemon juice.

• Mix 2 tablespoon glycerin and 2 tablespoon lemon juice. Apply this to the feet regularly after a bath.

• Always soak your nails in lukewarm water for at least 10 minutes before you trim your nails.

• To prevent brittle nails, apply garlic paste and wash off after 30 minutes.

• Soak brittle nails in dissolved gelatin every day for 15 minutes to make them stronger.

• Brittle nails can be strengthened by dipping the fingers in olive oil at bed time.

• Soak cotton pads in raw milk, and rub on nails to shine them.

• For strong nails, soak your finger in a solution made of half a cup of hot water, 2 tsp mustard oil and 1 tsp salt.

• Mash a banana, add rosewater, mix well and apply on the face and wash it off after 15 minutes.  It is excellent for a shallow and dry skin. It removes wrinkles as well.

• Make a paste of equal amount of turmeric and curry leaves and apply on the spots then wash it after 15 minutes.

• Make a paste of 2-3 leaves of henna and pinch of turmeric powder. Apply on the black spots.

• Make a paste of saffron and add some honey, apply it on the face.

• Make a paste from honey and cinnamon powder. Apply this paste on pimples before go to bed. And wash it next day morning with warm water.

• Mix groundnut oil with fresh lemon juice apply this mixture on your face for prevent formation and pimples.

Some more tips

• Mix curd and Bengal gram flour and make it paste. Apply it well on the face, then wash it off. Your pimples will disappear and your skin will begin to glow.

• Make a paste with sandal wood and turmeric and apply it on the face.

• Application of fresh mint juice over the face every night, cures pimples and prevents dryness of the skin.

• Make a powder of poppy seeds, almonds and rice flour. Mix with curd and apply your face and leave it for 10 minutes then washing off.

• Make tomato juice and apply it on face and leave it for 15 minutes.

• Application of orange peel powder at the time of face washing give good results.

• Mix curd and kasturi turmeric powder and apply this paste on your face at every night.

• Apply papaya pulp over your face regularly to cure pimples.

• Take a few pods of roasted cloves and add some curd and make a paste. Apply this paste on the pimple let it dry wash off.

• Make a mixture of cooked oatmeal and honey and apply it on the face. This is suitable for dry skin.
• Make a paste of dried neem leaves and grounded orange peel and dried pomegranate peels. Apply this pate on your face.

Sandal wood powder- 1 tsp

• Mix milk powder and  sandalwood powder and massage gently on your face for 10 minutes .

Sesame oil – 10 drops

Coconut oil – 10 drops

Neem oil – 5 drops

Lemon oil – 5 drops

• Mix sesame oil with coconut oil and neem oil and lemon oil. Store it in a dark place. Whenever you need for cleansing take this oil and add 6 drops of pure water and apply massage your face for 3 minutes.

Honey – 1 table spoon

Almond powder – 2 table spoon

Lemon juice – ½ tsp

• Mix honey and almond powder and lemon juice. Rub gently onto face and rince off with warm water.

Some more tips

• Take 1 tbsp of milk, dip a small pad of cotton in this milk and rub on the face gently. Leave this on face for 15 minutes. Wash with cold water.
• Take a slice pieced tomato and rub on face and leave it for 15 minutes than wash with cold water.
• Take 1 tsp rice flour or green gram powder add some drops of rose water and gently wash your face.
• While washing your face, add a few sugar granules to the soap lather it removes dead cells from your face and makes your skin smoother.
